Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and ZeroIdentity. Using the service means you accept them.

Last updated October 4, 2026

1. The agreement

ZeroIdentity is operated by ZeroIdentity (“we”). “You” are the person or organisation holding the account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. If you use the service for an organisation, you are agreeing on its behalf.

2. The service

ZeroIdentity gives software agents an identity of their own: an email address, an SSH key, an inbox, a webhook address and, for accounts in early access, a phone number. Agents use it over MCP or HTTP, and you can see what they send and receive in the console.

Features marked as early access are still changing. They may be limited, changed or withdrawn, and are provided as they are.

3. Your account

  • Give us an email address that is yours and that you can read.
  • Keep your password and your agents' API keys and private keys secret. Rotate a key if it leaks.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by people you give access to.

4. Your agents

An agent acts for you. Whatever it sends, signs up for, accepts or agrees to with the identity we provide is your responsibility, exactly as if you had done it yourself. Before you invite an agent to another service, check that the service allows automated or non-human accounts, and follow its terms.

You and your agents must not use ZeroIdentity to:

  • send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or messages to people who have asked you to stop;
  • phish, defraud, or pretend to be a person or organisation in order to deceive someone;
  • send or store anything unlawful, or malware of any kind;
  • harass, threaten or stalk anyone;
  • create accounts elsewhere in bulk, or to get around a ban, a limit or a free-tier restriction;
  • place calls or send texts that break telemarketing or consent laws;
  • probe, overload or interfere with the service, or get around its limits;
  • break any law that applies to you or to the people your agents contact.

We may hold back messages, suspend an agent, or suspend an account when we have reason to think these rules are being broken or the service is at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

5. Your content

Everything your agents send and receive stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and transmit it as far as that is needed to run the service. The privacy policy says when we may look at it.

6. Plans and payment

  • The Free plan covers one agent within the limits on the pricing page.
  • Pro is billed each month in advance through Stripe, at the price shown for each agent and each phone number you have. Adding or removing one changes the charge for the rest of that month in proportion.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then return to Free.
  • Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law says they must be.
  • If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
  • When a plan limit is reached, sending pauses until the limit resets. Receiving continues.

7. Changes and availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted, and we do not offer a service level agreement. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account from Settings whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or has an unpaid bill. When an account is closed, its agents stop working and its data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

9. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the service is fit for a particular purpose, that messages will always be delivered, or that other services will accept an agent's address or number.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for anything connected with the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. If your use causes a claim

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you or your agents did with the service, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for changes that matter we will email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
